Three cancer survivors in my family

A sharing to you..I have a good experience during this week..

Early this week i was in Malacca for 3 days, I visited my Unlce (my dad's younger bro). He had Colon Cancer, he seen now very weak.I saw him suffering the pain and spleen bigger in size now. And, i also visited my untie (my dad younger sister), she also has one type of colon cancer after few months my uncle was diagnosed. This was really a sad stories for our family!!!!! I am worried about them.

I was very down and sad after visited them, I was telling myself what can i do for them other than telling them to take care and give them my support. Nothing i can do!!!!..... reason, i do not know anything about their diagnosis and what is the better treatment and many more question...I believe my feeling was the same with other cancer caregiver and family. They felt hopeless and helpness to their love one.

My wish and my mission now is trying hard to learn more about how to help Cancer survivor to overcross all the obstacle in their life. Please spend sometimes to help others cancer survivor in your community because They Need Us!

Life is Beautiful!

  1. sorry to hear bout your uncle and aunty

me too had experience with cancers in my family. mom survived cervical cancer, and died later of breast cancer. grandmother also with breast cancer.

at that time, not many things can be done except try to make them as comfortable as they can. not many information accesible, make it difficult for family members and caregivers to learn from.

now let is together try to help as many cancer patients and survivors dealing with their sickness and life.

Life is beautiful and will be more beautiful than ever by supporting others who is in need

  3. Early detection can save lives. Having an annual physical check-up is a good start, and a good and healthy eating habit does not hurt either. For men, PSA (prostate specific antigen) blood test on a yearly basis is a must do. For women, annual mamography and OB-GYN check-up are required. For men and women above 50 years of age, colorectal flexible scope screening every 3 to 4 years is strongly recommended.

Fan - you are doing your very best and, you should be proud of yourself. You are such an inspiring star for all and everyone in the group. I believe same to your family members. Yes, reality is, sometimes, things will not be go on in the way that we want to, as long as we have done our best, that is the great support that we could offer.
